Hickory Creek is stocked with rainbow trout to provide an urban coldwater fishery in the City of Neosho's Morse Park. The stream is stocked five times annually and maintains a good rainbow trout fishery all year long. Rock bass (goggle-eye) numbers and sizes have been good during the last two surveys. There is approximately 2 miles of stream that flows through the park. There are two ADA accessible fishing platforms on the stream. There is a catch-and-release season from November 1 through the last day of February. From March 1 through October 31, statewide White Ribbon stream regulations apply.
