Anglers should focus their harvest on bass less than 12 inches long. Larger bass can be released to fight again. The crappie fishery continues to improve in this lake. At times, crappie anglers can experience good catches of fish between 10 to 12 inches long with few exceeding 12 inches. A high-quality channel catfish population exists in the lake with several fish longer than 20 inches. Anglers should use night crawlers or prepared baits fished off the bottom.
